Dutch Halo Braid

Everyone welcome back at today’s article is this half-up Dutch. Halo braid or crown braid hairstyle. I have a super old post that is so similar, but I do it a little differently now. So I asked on Instagram if you would love an updated hair post and I got so many s’s that I thought I would go ahead and tell me so I hope you enjoy this and let’s get started for this guy. I’m going to begin by creating a deep side part on the left side next. I’m going to pick up a small section of hair on the right side of the part and divided into three pieces for the brace. Then I’m going to cross the Baxter and under the middle and then the French can under the middle.

Now I’m going across the back down under the middle and bring a new section into the braids.

And I’m crossing the French drain under the middle and bringing in a new section of hair and I’m just going to continue the braid bringing in hair on both sides until it reaches the corner of my forehead.

Then I’m going to stop adding in hair to the bottom side of the braids and only bringing hair from the top since this braid looks like a Halo. I’m going to slowly cook the braid around my head keeping it a little high and continue adding and hair to the top of the braids.

Then once the baby reaches the back of my head, I’m going to switch my hand so that the braiding is a little bit easier to do.

What is the brain reaches the right side of my head?

I’m going to switch my hands again and just continue the braid bringing in small sections from the top of my head and one trick that makes this a little easier is to make sure and keep the great as close to the head as you can this helps minimize any weird bumps in the braids or along the top of the head, but you can always go back over them and carefully push them down if you need to.

Now what’s all the hairs bread into the braids?

I’m just going to braid the section all the way to the bottom and then I’m going to lay the braid behind where it started and Pennington place was several bobby pins.

You can tell it wherever it feels loose, but I like to slide mine. And so they’re horizontal with the braids. This helps them stay hidden a whole lot better.

Then I’m just going to go back over the braids and pull on the edges to make it a little bit wider and better hide the space at the top of my head and then set the style with Hairspray.

I know this hairstyle can be a little bit intimidating, but it’s definitely doable. I know the hold rating of the opposite side. It can seem a little bit tricky, but practice makes anything easier.
